About AMSA

The American Moving and Storage Association's Mission:
To represent and enhance the Domestic and International Moving and Storage Industry

The AMSA is a non-profit trade association established in 1936. It has an education foundation (c)(3), The Moving & Storage Institute.

Our moving company members are 3,700 professional movers moving interstate household goods (between states). In addition, these companies may provide intrastate and local moving services as well as storage in a secure warehouse.

The move profile information collected through the Mover Referral Service (MRS) is emailed only to movers selected by the customer to receive it. Movers participating in the MRS agree to keep all profile information confidential. No other information is collected on this consumer site.
